Would you be my Bridesmaid?

I did these cookies for a potential customer :), as always I love to provide samples so that customers can see what I can do. She actually showed me a picture of what she wanted, and unfortunately I don’t work with fondant, I just use royal icing. So she said ok, and I did what I could, and I think I did a beautiful job!! kudos to myself lol.

This is such a great way to ask someone to be in your wedding, bridesmaids, maid of honor, groomsmen, best man. Giving cookies as gifts is definitely different, it is guaranteed that your money wont be wasted because the cookie will be eaten right away lol. I wish I had done this for my wedding, but when I do renew my vows, I will make something very special.

I give different prices all the time, because I do a lot of custom cookies, so I really don’t have a set price. I use samples to get my prices because I can see how much work is required, how much detail and time it takes to get a cookie done. I know some people are hesitant to spend between 2-5 dollars per cookie, but it’s a lot of hard work that goes into making these beautiful creations, specially for weddings. I do give discounts on my big orders, and to customers that always order over and over (big thanks!). When I decorate or design cookies, I put a lot of love in them, I try to do the best that I can do, so thank you for appreciating all my hard work. Yes I’m not perfect sometimes, but I try hard!

I will be adding additional pages to my blog regarding ordering questions, prices, packaging, etc.. I get a lot of people asking me for prices so this way your questions will be answered, well most of them lol.

Love to all!

  1. Oh but these are so much better than fondant. I dont like fondant, doesnt taste so good, at least not for me, but they do make cakes look beautiful…..I can understand your point on pricing…….IT is hard to give prices…..depending what they want. I do the same, I wont give a price until I make a sample and see how much I spend on material and how time it takes me to complete the item.
