Ana ordered these as a gift for soon to be parents 🙂 I hope they enjoy the cookies! I did not have the cutter for this sock monkey, so I had to use my circle cutter, hat, and small circle cutter…I should have taken pictures, because it was like a mini puzzle lol..and then I mixed white sanding sugar with black, to give it that two tone effect…yep, lightbulb! lol I had so much fun making these 🙂
This is one of the samples I am working on…I don’t usually use backgrounds for my cookies, but I really like the way it looks 🙂 it’s amazing how editing a picture can really make it look wonderful :
I used this to post as my facebook image…I love using www.pixlr.com . I had to put the oky’s cookies towards the middle to fit it into the space lol…so many things you learn to do.
I love making samples, although I only tend to do them more for weddings, but sometimes it is hard to describe something to a client, whereas making the sample is more visual. I can’t wait to share the other two 🙂
My husband made me really happy today, 1 by delivering our new couches himself :)…yes thanks Adrian M. for helping too lol….2 He told me that he is really proud of what I do, but he is more happy that I enjoy it so much….He too is very artsy, and he is really happy that I love what I do, and I do…I am happy to create beautiful things, and it feels easier to do, day by day, order by order. I’ve learned my consistencies, my dough flavoring keeps getting better, but most important of all, I have learned that I am not perfect, nor I try to be…I just try to do a good job..and so far I think I’m doing a pretty good job 🙂
I am more focused than ever, and I look forward to keep growing…one step at a time 🙂
I hope you have a great night! Love to all!
